this is the nativity stone, the most unique stone in history. in 1963 a renovation was made to the cave of the Nativity in Bethlehem--the recognized birthplace of Jesus. the mayor of Bethlehem approved the shipment of the stones from the cave to the United States.
documented by both the Mayor and the Israel Museum, these limited sacred stones are individually numbered and authenticated.
Ricardo Montalban introduced Nativity Stones to the public in 2000

nativity stone is set in gold cross pendant and can be worn on a necklace to embrace this most holly site.

i've never taken it out of the box it came in and it doesn't say anything about the pendant. the literature is focused on the stone. i'm more inclined to say that it's not though cuz if it was they would prolly highlight on that as well; right?

Put clear nail polish on anything that bothers your skin and you should be fine. Works for me! I wouldn't cover a relic with nail polish, though. Just "paint" the backside of the pendant. Just a thought...
