I HAVE 5 DESSERT RED DEPRESSION GLASS BOWLS! These are very nice they were my husbands late wife's mothers! They are not the painted kind they are red through out the glass! There are no chips or cracks that I can see and I looked very carefully! Thank you I wish you all good luck! Hope you enjoy!

I am a collector of depression glass and other antique glassware, and I believe what you have here is cranberry Murano glass, worth MUCH more than depression glass. Depression glass has a pattern to it, and this is smooth (If the pictures and my eyes serve me correctly). This is Italian made and was popular in the late 1800's and early 1900's. I'd be interested in the dimensions of these plates, the height, diameter, and any markings there may be on the bottom. Thank you.

Yes yes yes I really could not remember what it was called! Thank you I should correct that since you were so kind to refresh my memory! There are no markings on the bottom of the bowls they are about 3 inches across and an 1 to 11/4 inches high. I think my grandson ran off w/tape measurer! but its a pretty good guess. Really Thank you for helping it bothers me emencely when I can not remember things!! grrrr! lol Thank you I also Fanned you!

It is and as for my sister in law...I am disabled badly ok. She and my husbands brother are greedy people! I mean bad. She would give me something then after we would fix it up she would ask for it back. One cold winter about 10 years ago she came over did that to me and I actually physically threw her out the front door onto her butt in the deep snow and told her to stay I was getting her things and I grabbed all I had that I could think of and threw it all without a bag mind you at her on the front lawn of my home. My husband did the same thing with that brother when he was in (My Husband) the hospital his brother came by with their Witnesses people to preach and pray well my husband curses like a drunken sailor LoL and threw them out of the hospital room. Then he tried to stop over her again with his witnesses and so then my husband threw them out of our house like I did her LoL!!! Well they work together so he sees enough of him he said there. And since that day I have not spoken to them at all. Not even invited them to when our son came in from Japan to our cookout not nothing at all. We are the evil step sister and brother LoL!!! His grandmother was the best. Well all the years she had never had a photo of anyone on her walls. She put a photo I had given her for her albums of me it was an 8x10 and instead she put it over her mantel in the living room...that one even tho happened 20 no 25 years ago still burns my ex sister in laws butt LoL! I guess grandma loved me!

My set is cranberry Murano and she also gave me her set of pink scalloped with white interior service for four depression glass dinnerware set! She loved me I was only married to her grandson but we took care of all she needed...my other sister in law was so mad...all she got was a carnival glass candy dish...she was angry I told her you do not want the dish I will gladly take it from you ... she broke it I was told grrrrr

Oh wow wish I could get these! My husbands grandmother gave me the entire service for 8 of these! Only missing two juice glasses that she broke when she washed them before she wrapped them up for me! I just love the set! It has the bowls but I do not remember if they are like these or not they are packed away for now. I so wish I had 2500 more credits I would love to have these. If you know or if anyone knows someone who has 2 of the small juice glasses please send them my way! Happy auction!!!
