Description

The listing, Old Time Tennessee Muskmelon has ended.

Here I have seeds from a melon weighing in at 21 pounds picked from my patch. These taste so sweet and are the best cantaloupe type melon I have raised. They do not keep well, so be ready to eat when they ripen. Listia verified addresses only please. I will ship 30 plus seeds.

Thank you, but I am prepared to lose once in a while. My loss would be your gain. It is really refreshing to find good people once in a while, though.

That's a big melon. Is it Heirloom? Must be if you can just plant the seeds from them & they grow. I sure would like to give growing them a try.

They are heirloom from about the turn of the century. They do not keep well so they never made the market. They are the most juicy and flavorful melon I have ever grown, and I started growing in the late 50s. I may put on one more bunch this year, so if you miss these there would be another chance.
