This is an auction for a 2013 British 1 pence coin. I found it in a cash safe at work last uear and have held on to it ever since. It has a clear circular strike on the tails side seen in the picture. I'm 99% certain it was an error at the royal mint as this coin came from a bulk bag of 1 pences that had been delivered straight from the bank which were still in the royal mint bags, the bag was delivered to us in feb 2013 so was freshly minted coins. The coin itself is in very good condition and has a good lustre. Please dont ask me how this indent was formed on the coin as I dont know, I have a lot of strike error coins and this is the first ive seen with this kind of indent, so I imagine it is pretty uncommon. As I stated above i'm 99% sure this coin is a genuine strike error but obviously I am not 100% certain. As with all other auctions I have listed I will ship worldwide but until I have recieved shipping cost payment I will not send the coin. Happy bidding guys.
