The watch can be for a man or woman. i have one myself and so does my boyfriend. i like to wear mine when camping, since it glows in the dark.

Ok, one more question , sorry... but grandson is a big guy, is this face of the watch pretty good size ? I'm only asking since it can be for a man or woman, 'cause I know some men watches aren't as big as others. He loves this, but going to need one that's for big/tall guys. Yes, the watch has a big face . and the lenght of the watch can fit a large person too. it has mult. adjusting 8 holes for sizing.
