The listing, Brass Telephone Token has ended.
This quartersized Telephone Token is pretty cool.Its made of copper or brass is undated but has some type of i.d. number,has the spanish word for phone and the lined design.Im not sure where its from...see pict.
Questions & Comments
In the 60 & 70 pay phones in Europe required slotted tokens to activate the phone and this prevented the use of slugs or flat pieces of metal. With the language being in Spanish I would guess that this is from Spain. I have one from Israel and another from Italy. Best of luck with the auction

Yet another interesting note from the webpage written by someone from Italy, the mint date on this coin is October 1971 (If I read the number correctly of 7110) What is interesting is that there are no mint marks above the Gettone
