The listing, Purple Bell Pepper Seeds has ended.
These unique bell peppers start out purple on the outside and green on the inside and slowly ripen to a very sweet bright red. They are delicious and very attractive when picked half ripe when they are a chocolate color. These peppers are great producers and it is not uncommon to have as many as 10 peppers on a single plant. They are average to large sized usually with a few smaller peppers along with some that get really huge. If you pick them when they are still purple they are not bitter at all once they reach their full size, and they look great sliced in salads. The walls get thicker the riper they get. I have been growing these for several years and selecting seed only from the plants that are most productive and have the best color.
