Use the Sneak Peek Preview design tool to:
Preview Fabric - Hold "windows" over fabric to envision how it will appear when sewn in a block. Rotate for different effects.
Determine Value (Light & Dark) - When placed on fabric, the red previews filter out color, revealing the light and dark values of the fabric. Quilt designs are most effective when a variety of light, medium and dark fabrics are used.
Mark Shapes for Cutting - Move the preview around until locating the most pleasing position of the fabric design. Using a fabric marker, make a light dot through the preview holes. Remove template. Using a ruler, draw lines connecting the dots. This automatically adds a 1/4" seam allowance to the shape. Cut out the shapes on the lines.
Shop for Special Fabrics - Use the handy purse size previews when fabric shopping to check the effects of fabric designs. Previews may also be removed from chain and used individually.
Create endless quilt block designs by using the Sneak Peek Preview and these ideas:
Center fabric designs within desired shape to create "picture" pieces.
