The listing, Gorgeous Italian Gold Cross Pendant has ended.

Gorgeous gold cross.. Cross is just over one inch long. I thought it was real solid gold when I bought it but seems like I read somewhere that if it's stamped Italy, it's real gold plate over sterling silver. This has a chain with it, but it's starting to show wear so I didn't include it. Buyer can have it if they want it though.... The cross "chain ring" (is that what you call those? LOL!) is stamped Italy on one side but I can't make out what's stamped on the other side. The chain also has the word Italy stamped on the clasp, and 925 stamped on it on the opposite side , it's hard to read but pretty sure that's what it says, which seems to indicate both are gold over silver. The cross is still beautiful with no real sign of wear. I wore it for several years until my daughter bought me a different one for mother's day. It cost me quite a bit, it's very good quality.

I've researched and this cross should be 14K gold over sterling silver since it's marked Italy and the chain is marked Italy and 925.

I was really surprised I was able to get the clear shot, I kept fiddling with my settings until I finally got it right! It's really pretty. I just realized I forgot to put the dimensions in the description, it's almost 1 1/2 inches long (including the vale) and just over 3/4th inches wide at ti's widest point.

fyi It is always good to inclued a photo of the back. If you cant measure it or are unsure... place a dime or quarter next to in in the photo.. and the "ching ring" gizmo is called a bale :)

I think it is called a "bell" the part connecting to the chain from a pendant.
