I am a child of the 50's and I love Little Golden Books. This is a re-issue of the original Doctor Dan The Bandage Man, and the story is sweet, the pictures are amazing. Every page holds a lifetime of childhood memories, from Dan's little red wagon to his full cowboy outfit. I got a new cowboy outfit complete with holster and cap guns, chaps, boots and hat, for many Christmases, and I would not wear a cowgirl skirt! I was a cowboy at heart!. Two Johnson & Johnson bandaids are attached inside the book, the way it did when originally released in 1950. Check out Dan's Dad in his cuffed belted pants and short sleeve shirt! Little Golden Books? I have 4 or 5 of them listed here, another 25 or more that I am not sure what I can part with, they have a lot of great times associated to them.
