The lens looks like its missing the front part - do you know if this is just the vanity ring or if the front glass element is missing/damaged as well?

Just the vanity ring...The locking ring is still there

Ok - can you still put a filter on it? It looks like the filter ring is gone too - this would likely prevent use of the appropriate lens cap as well.

no...Threading is there...the only piece that I see missing is the recessed ring that sits just passed the lens cap. It Just had model # writting on it.

I dont have the lens cap but I would assume the original size should still fit.
