These work, I'm getting rid of them 'cause I got new speakers for my pc. There's no damage to them. The only issue is when you're adjusting the volume nob, sometimes it gets fuzzy and you have to move it *just right* to get the volume you want; however, you can adjust the volume on your pc so it shouldn't matter. Cords from the speakers to the subwoofer are pretty long (guesstimate: 5ft).
