The listing, The MYSTERY USB "London Stock Exchange" Button has ended.

It plugs into your USB slot and then... well I haven't a clue what it does... I refuse to plug it into my computer and figure out what it does. I am selling it as is... because what ever it does I havent a clue and dont want to plug some random thing into my computer. You might ask where it came from.. I havent a clue of that either. It was on my desk at work one day and well I took it home and now its on listia... Maybe its a 2 Terrabyte flash drive / jump drive... Maybe it lights up, maybe it plays music... I do not know... For all of the people out there who are confused... Well so am I, I am just listing this for fun and well maybe someone would like to win it and solve the mystery of the USB button.

It says: London Stock Exchange Group on the front and it makes a loud click when you press it down. It has some wear I guess from use but I really dont know what it was used for so I guess I cant say from what kind of use...

The winner has to do one thing though... it is a requirement to win this auction. They "MUST" tell me what it does once they try it out. :-) I mean after they leave me positive feedback of course because I will ship it CRAZY fast :-) Sound good to you??? BID AWAY!!!

I LOVE this! And I've worked in IT my entire adult life and I couldn't tell you what this is. It's not a smart card reader, it's got feet and no laser at the bottom so not a mouse. If it's only function is to click.... maybe it activates something in an OS? Maybe it's a file server? MAYBE IT'S VOODOO WITCHCRAFT!!!!! Maybe EVERY time you CLICK an angel gets its wings!!!!!

no number on it. If you angle it to the light u can see that the bottom used to have a stocker on it... but it could have just been a serial number or something... I JUST noticed this when the sun hit it.

The ticker is for the stock exchange, it 'ticks' your money :3
It's probably cheaper plastic because of low fund in England or something, I'm not sure, but that's all it is. You can upload the application online on their site if it came without a CD.

I really don't think its a ticker... I guess you could be right though, I just hope that no matter what it is the person who wins it can actually use it and its not just a hunk of junk.... I wouldn't be happy with that. I sell things and test everything I sell normally. This is new to me and if anyone knows me on eBay (slavin4u) is my user id you can tell that I mean business and everything I sell is top quality (or VERY detailed in its description)

Oh! I know what this is! It's from the Stock Exchange, Stock holders connect it with the online CD to their main stock, and with every 'click' they do an increase to the amount of stock they have, or decrease. As long as you connect it to a usb slot, charger, wall, or computer, your stock stays safe per click, it makes sure there is no decrease. Sort of like what KrissMisery was saying.

LOL - I also want to know and normally I would just use it... I have a laptop but it went swimming... LOL woops left it out in the rain... and I wont mess up my desktop (wife would kill me) so I'm playing this one safe... that and I just think its fun sometimes the mystery can just be fun. I like surprises and this is just fun. :-)
