Due to circumstances beyond my control, Old Doc bows out to the "heavy hitters"!
It is a wonderful and interesting spoon, but I must concentrate on my Nuclear Garden and tomorrow night is a "planting" Full Moon.
Good luck everyone!

Being an old stickler........
....an proving no listing is perfect......
What is length of spoon?
What type of scale is it sitting on?
In 1914 they became Manchester Silver Company, so this mark only spanned 10 years, 100 years ago............ergo.....very rare antique spoon.
That's all I have ..............................
For Now!
Doc

So sorry I left that out! It is approximately 4 1/8" long.
And as for the scale...just a typical digital scale for jewelry or coins.

An interesting note about Blanchard Ville, Wisconsin....
It is a tiny 1/2 square mile village (part of Madison [the capital] with a population of 825 people today).
One has to wonder......what event happened 100 years ago that warranted a commemoration spoon made of sterling silver? Who did the monogram "M" belong to? Could this be a OOAK special spoon?
Well we have near 3 weeks to solve the mystery of this exceptional spoon?
