The listing, Two Baseball Cassettes has ended.
18 Tracks on Baseball's Greatest Hits I including the timeless Who's On First, Talkin' Baseball (Willie, Mickey and the Duke) by Terry Cashman. Cashman has written and sang over 100 different baseball songs. Many of his song can be downloaded on Amazon.com.
Casey at the Bat by DeWolf Hopper, Van Lingle Mungo, A Dying Fan's Last Request plus a humorous Danny Kaye song called D-O-D-G-E-R-S Song (Oh, Really, No O'Malley) in which the Dodgers and their hated archrivals the Giants play a game.
My favourite one here is: Tom Lasorda's interview given on June 4, 1978 after Dave Kingman 3 HRs beat the Dodgers. This is the bleeped version.
Check the whole tirade at www.dodgersblues.com and click on features link and scroll down Lasorda goes on Dave Kingman tirade to hear the unbleeped version.
The other cassette, I created on the Personics System by The Wherehouse. The Personics System is the grandfather of the MP3. On this cassette are six 1988 Talkin' Baseball team songs. All five California teams and the NY Yankees.
Speaking of New York, I have a rare song by Dion DiMucci. Its called I Used to Be a Brooklyn Dodger. Dion and the Belmonts are from Belmont, NY. Dion married "Run Around Sue".
