1944P War Nickel 35% Silver in circulated condition. From 1942-1945 the U.S. needed Nickel for the war, so the mint up came with a 35% silver, 56% percent copper, and 9% magnesium mixture to strike the nickel with. A great coin with a lot of history tell with it. Good for a collector or a silver hoarder. Sorry about the fuzzy pics, but it was the best I could do with my cell cam.
