Otganic Sweet Pea 20+Seeds, Hill soil and plant 3 seeds about 6" apart. Most recommend 5, then thin, but I hate that! Plant 1" deep adding some compost to the hole. I soak my peas 2-4 hours in a cup of cooled organic tea with a drop of fish emulsion. Use a paper cup or toilet paper "collar" to protect plants initially. A trellis helps. When reach 2 1/2-3", pick often. Add seeds every 2 weeks to extend the season; use shade cloth if temps rise above 80. For most parts of the country, this is the time to plant. I store my seeds in glass jars in refrigerator w/a moisture absorbing packet in each jar. Peas arrive in a packet made of If You Care parchment, then put in a BPA free plastic packet. Can be started indoors, but I have better luck when I direct sow my peas. Keep an eye out for insect pests, and hand pick. Drop in a pail of soapy water. Remember, not all bugs are bad!
