Oh hun your ok your not bothering me with questions at all. From what i read when i googled toner vs astringent they say yes these are similar. but from what i read the astringent should help shrink the pores faster so that you don't get the bumps from the oils in the make up or oils in general being on the skin. I hope this helps answer your question. don't be shy to asking as many questions as you need too
