This is a genuine 1895-dated copper indian head cent, with a cut-out look. Then lightly gold plated. It was created by a custom punch that removed the coin's background. It looks just like hand cut out coin jewelry.

It still retains an antique old-west look with darkness in the crevices, with tarnishing copper showing at the edges under a light gold plate.

It has been circulated but much better quality than most coins of this age. The LIBERTY headband is worn flat almost giving the coin a silhouette look; few details can be see in the feathers. Fair condition for a 119-year old coin.
