The listing, Pearl Harbor Tribute - Coins and Stamp has ended.
This collection honors the memories of our fine servicemen and their families. It includes unique WWII emergency issue coins: the one-year-only 1943 Steel Penny, the only Silver Nickels in U.S. coinage history (35% silver, 1942-45) and the Shellcase Penny (1944-46) struck from spent cartridge cases. This tribute also includes a mint condition U.S. Postage Stamp issued in 1946, honoring FDR. The background graphics of this collection feature an actual WWII Propaganda Poster released in 1942 shortly after the attack on Pearl Harbor.
1943-D Steel Penny: MS-65
1943-P Nickel: Fair to Good
1945 Penny: Good
I am not a certified grader of coins but I offer the above as my honest opinion. You must be the ultimate judge.
that 1943 steel cent looks like it has been reprossed thats when they melt/strip the old zinc off and apply new zinc and thats what makes it look brand new because basically it is a new penny
