The listing, Vintage Bergere fleur de lis onyx pin has ended.

This is a fabulous find! This pin belonged to my Nana and it is beautiful! It's a lovely fleur de lis style pin with a large onyx stone. It is a piece of goldtone costume jewelry. It is approximately 3.25" long including the chain and is approx. 1.25" wide at it's widest point.

Here is a description of the company:
Bergere jewelry was produced by L. Erbert & Pohls Inc. NY in 1947. The high-quality designed jewelry produced consisted of necklaces, bracelets, pins, clips and earrings containing faux pearls and stones on gold plated, rhodium, and brass metals. The jewelry was sold in stores such as Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, and Marshall Fields. Mark: "bergere" with a dash above the 2nd e of the name in 1947 and "Bergere" in script. The company ceased operations in 1979.

I'm not sure what you mean by signed. It's not signed by an individual artist but is stamped Bergere and it does have the line over the second "e" as described in the company description. :-) Hope this helps answer your question. If not, feel free to ask again ;-)

The line is for a French "e". Are there scratches on or places where the gold finish is worn off? Thanx.

There are no areas of wear on the pin.
