But what makes this Coin even more special the History behind it.

This is part of the coinage promised by the United States to help get the native Philippine's to fight against the invading Japanese army in WWII. The Japanese had paid everyone with paper-money that instantly became worthless when the Japanese retreated back to Japan. General Douglas MacArthur brought these coins and other types to the Philippines coins that were actually minted by United States, mostly the San Francisco Mint and Denver Mints. The Philippines had always been a U.S. Territory since the end of the Spanish American War. These are the only coins ever minted with the legend "United States of America" on the coins for coins that were only legal tender outside the United States as far as I know!
