Hi and great auction!! I love wheatgrass shots and have always wanted to grow myself, but never had the time to do so. What is the growth rate for wheat grass? Does it grow slow or fast? What kind of fertilizer/soil is best for wheat grass? Most importantly..how would I grow it(i.e. indoors/outdoors, temperature, sun, no sun and etc.)? thank you for your time in answering my questions :) F&W..please fan back:)

Hi Thank you, wheat grass is one of the easiest plants to grow, I live in Arizona so it gets pretty hot here so I grow mine in flats indoors, I just use potting soil, put the soil in the flats cover the soil with the seeds, then just barely cover the seeds with more soil, water it and they will start to grow in just a few days, and cut it when it gets about 6-8 inches high about 2 weeks or so, I have never used any fertilizers or anything else, if you have a place you can grow outside just let some of it keep growing and you will end up with wheat, the seeds or grain from that is the same seeds the winner will be getting, since farmers grow wheat out in the sun it should be fine, anything else just ask 8=)
