What is that? I know ppl can bid up to what they will pay, so if the bid is at 1000, and you are willing to pay 5000,you input that and any time someone else bids, it will bid for the person up to the amount they bid.

I always bid that way because I am not on the site alot. If I want something, I'll input my bid up to the most I will pay (in points). It just goes up to the current bid, until someone else bids on the item, then will bid for you automatically until it reaches your final bid, and will go over if) sometimes if ppl keep bidding. Is that auto bid?

I am not sure if that is the answer to what auto bid is, or what she may have been implying. I was kind of wondering what she meant as well. This was just my assumption of what she meant when she mentioned "there may be an auto bid set". I tried looking up "auto bid" on the help site, but didn't find anything.
