The listing, 1992-S Olympic Half Dollar PR69 has ended.

Up for auction is a 50 cent half dollar coin made to commemorate the 1992 summer Olympics in Barcelona. It's one of three coins minted by the US for the Barcelona games and the only half dollar.

The coin depicts a gymnast in front of an American flag backdrop. The reverse has the legend "citius, altius, fortius" which is the olympic motto meaning faster, higher, stronger. Reverse design is the olympic torch crossed with an olive branch.

This coin is a proof and is graded by PCGS at PR69. Red book value of this coin goes to a 67 grade only. Number is visible for anyone who would like to check authenticity.
