The listing, Scrimshaw Necklaces has ended.

These are 2 scrimshaw necklaces, the large one is the size of a silver dollar with the ship and whales swimming by in the water, on the back is the persons name that made it, it is silver and I added a silver chain, the smaller one is the size of a dime with a lighthouse and ship sailing in the sea, it is set in a gold filigree holder, I added a gold snake chain. I do not know if the silver or the gold that they are set in is real, I'm thinking it isn't but you never know. You can feel the etching of the scrimshaw when you rub your finger over it. As you can see the large one was made in 1981, I don't know about the other one. They are very lovely and I've had them put away for a long long time and I thought it was time for them to find a new home and someone that will enjoy them. Verified addresses ONLY!! I honestly don't know but they are old and I've had them a long time and you can feel the carving on them. I hope you enjoy listia I've been having a ball on here, I love it !!
