This auction is for a beautiful handcrafted lap blanket. One side features the M&M's Gang and the other side is chocolate. MMMMMMelts in your mouth not in your hand. This one is lightweight for a cool summer evening or for someone confined to a chair or just to throw over the back of a sofa for a beautiful pop of color. I made this lap blanket and hope you enjoy it. It is made from 100% cotton. There is no batting in the middle.

It would make a great Christmas gift. That is what I usually do with the leftover ones. I take them to the local hospital and ask them to give to people who have no visitors. This always helps to cheer someone up.

What are the measurements...I can't tell how big it is, I know you said lap blanket, so I imagine not huge, but wondering if it would cover my toddler. :) Thanks!

It would definitely cover your toddler. It is approximately 33" x 44"" . That is almost 3ft x 4 ft. a few inches less on each side. Big enough to cover my big big lap LOL. I will have others going up as soon as I finish them. I have four that are almost ready to be posted. They take a loooonnnnnggggg time to do. Every stitch is hand done. They should last several lifetimes. LOL. Longer than me anyway. I have one that my great-grandmother made that is over 100 years old and I still use it. She is one of the ones who taught me to sew. Her and my granny mac. They were incredible women and wasted NOTHING. Everything was used and re-used. I think in this disposable world we have almost fogotten that concept. I know that I am going back to it and enjoying life more.

Well, if nobody beats your bid, It gets to come home to Scottie. He will then have his Linus blanket. It is very well made and is ever prettier in pictures. Each of the M&M's have different expressions. Even the same colored ones have different expressions which I found amusing.
