that's the way they were stored in a box for all these years, they do have brownish discoloring on them from being old, 66 years old, the newspaper doesn't have that pinkish coloring that's shown in the pictures

i like this newspaper because the whole back page tells all the important events that happened from 1941 - 1945, there is also a picture of our soldiers fighting during the war, the caption under it reads, the boys who did it, the Jap was brought to his knees by millions of men like these U.S. marines on Tarawa, also on the back page is pictures of general MacArthur, ground forces, and General Spaatz air forces, admiral Nimitz, navel forces

some of the important events mentioned are from 1943 - japs on guadalcanal cease resistance, six more jap ships sunk in south pacific, U.S. wins battle of Bismark sea, allied planes sink two jap cruisers off new ireland, chinese fly first combat mission under yank leaders, U.S. troops occupy adak, amchitka in aleutians,, jap ship losses to date fixed at 256, yanks, take mubo, in new guinea, there are litterly a lot more important events mentioned on the back page, these are a few important events i mentioned from 1943, there are many more mentioned on the year 1943, and a lot more events mentioned from 1941 - 1945

there are some stories in the newspaper, like U.S. Blamed By Hirohito, and B-29s hit last blow, meet no opposition, guam fighters cheer, shout out on tokyo, and army ready to run japan, russia pushes attack, and more stories inside

the back page is filled up with important events that happened during world war 2 from 1941-1945, except for the 4 pictures i told you about earlier, one of our soldiers fighting, and two pictures of generals and 1 of our admirals
