It is also quite heavy, on my postal scale it weighs at 1oz but my small scale is broken so that is the best I can do for weight right now.

Beautiful ring with a beautiful sentiment. From a 14th C. French ring , now in the British Museum, comes a poetic expression of loving vulnerability. In French, around the outside of the band are the words, a vila mon coeur gardi li mo, which translates as here is my heart guard it well.This is a link to take you to the site it was bought from:

I did wear it so there may be slight scratches in the top and bottom rim, I can't see them, I had the ring polished by a jeweler before putting it away so if there are they shouldn't be noticeable, No, the ring can not be sized without compromising the design. Thanks for the question

The chic ring box was a standard rectangular cardboard box with the company name on the top(not even a ring box) and no I was not planning on giving it away ever so I discarded the "chic" box and the card, and stored it in a nicer ring box, sorry
