This film is unique, having been set to a rock sound track. Thoroughly enjoyable. Funny and dramatic in turns. A poor young man grows up with dreams of becoming a knight. But only the landed gentry are allowed to become a knight and compete in the games. Older, and down on his luck, this aspiring knight forges documents in order to qualify and enter a competition for the prize money. What ensues is mayhem, love, humiliation and imprisonment and ultimately--triumph, when the King himself pardons the lad and makes him a real knight of the realm.

what a tragic young mans death in real life~ Such a talent he was! greatly portrayed in this movie.
