Description

The listing, CRIMPING TOOL - WIRE CUTTER FOR JEWLERY MAKERS!!!!!! has ended.

I've had this tool for many years, but used it once! I was clueless on how to use this tool so if my fans have any information on what this actually does please list in comments. ...
I do know one side of crimper/cutter has inches, the other side has mm. I'm starting this kinda low but hoping that someone who makes jewlery can really explain and I will put in my updates! (Just don't sue me for plagiarism)♡ I love my fans and feel this is worthy of my auctions!! If you want more pics just ask I'll do best I can (cellphone camera) OK one more thing I do know, I have absolutely NO PAPERWORK on this item! I searched my whole jewlery department in my home and will continue to look as the auction takes off!!
BORING-HAVE TO PUT IT HERE REMARKS!
ALL LISTIA RULES APPLY! YOU MUST HAVE A VERIFIED ADDRESS AND RUDE REMARKS ARE NOT WELCOME HERE! SUGGESTIONS AND HELPFUL HINTS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME, but please be nice or you will be invited to my block party and that's one party you don't want to attend!!!
HAPPY BIDDING & GOOD LUCK!

I am looking for a nice jewelry wire cutter. I've done a little research here and have found out that jewelry wire cutters (flush cut variety) have a beveled edge on one side and a flat edge on the other. This is because one side (the beveled one) will cut the wire so that it is kind of tapered in such a way as to not cut the wearer. (Think earrings. You wouldn't want to put a sharp wire through your ear cut with regular wire cutters). Could you tell me if this set has a flat side and a beveled side? I don't know what the crimping tool is yet but I think it has something to do with securing cord ends for necklaces. Maybe another Listian has used these before. I just use regular needle nosed pliers whenever I want to press or fold something together. Will bid on this if I get enough credits in time. F & W!

Kim,
You said some very very, nice things to me on one of the auctions we were all bidding on, it happens that my friend was over today to teach me a few new things about making jewelry and told me if i was gonna string beads for necklaces I need a crimper and cutter so I am sure I can get her to show me how this works.

Blessings,

Gigi

by the way thanks for your kind words the other day.

You use the crumpers to do just that, crimp the bead or tube, which ever you use to seal your wires so your bracelets or necklaces don't fall apart. You know the beads I'm referring to I hope. I hope this helps you. Thanks Pam

Yes... Like I have made necklaces from various types of cord, & you can buy the tips which you crimp onto the raw end of the cord, & the piece you crimp on can have a jump ring, lobster claw, spring ring etc. to let the wearer put it on... make sense? I am watching, can never have too many tools around when you make various types of jewelry... :-)

To bethwhitewright: this has just straight edges no bevel that is seen. There is a lower part under the actual cutter part that I would assume cuts the metal wire/tubing to a fine cut as not to leave sharp edging. Posting more pictures in morning.
