this looks like a vintage 1970's era faux turquoise piece.. there are people who collect these so just because its not real turquoise or sterling does not make it any less valuable.. these are collectable :)

Well, It LOOKS good, but with just the 2 pictures, it's just NOT ENOUGH DETAIL (ESPECIALLY W/OUT THE BACK) to offer any kind of educated opinion as to it's authenticity... It would go a long way toward speaking ibn favor of the piece if the Lister, Herself, would speak to these issues rather than maintaining a stoic silence.
