That's the way it came from the factory, I thought about making something out of it because of its weird shape. Before this cd I have only ever seen round ones. hope that answered your question?

it plays on my laptop, but with my laptop cdrom cds are kind of snapped into place. I wouldn't even try is in a normal drive.
