Thanks, fanned you back! I don't have the book in front of me-it's in my room with my sleeping baby-but I tell you what I remember. This girl and her brother go to the island of Guernsey from California to deliver some architectural plans for a WWII museum to this rich guy in return they get $5000 and the trip paid for. While they are there, the guy they deliver the plans to gets murdered and the girl gets arrested for the murder. She has an old friend in England so the brother asks her and her husband for help getting his sister out of jail. It's a thick book-500 some pages-so there's a lot more to it, of course, but that's the gist of it that I can remember. Hope that helps!
