Description
The listing, Paprika pepper plant has ended.
Have 2 different types of paprika pepper plants both make good paprika powder. They have a hot sweet flavor. They are grown just like any other pepper. To make the paprika I cut them and save seeds. Remove the vain dry thoroughly till brittle looking then ground and store.
Questions & Comments
have you shipped these successfully before ? I have not had much luck with having seedlings shipped to me arriving alive, but I really want to get some paprika plants going and I am at the northern edge of Oregon, quite a ways from you :) thanks
No have not shipped the paprika yet. I have shipped small seedling starter as far as California and they were ok but have not shipped these before. I have a few seeds left that I will include with the plant just in case. Thanks.
I wrap the root in wet paper and seal root in plastic bags. Send in bubble envelope and mail. This is best way I have been told to mail live plants. They will last about 5 days. As long as the root is taken care of the plant will come back. I make no guarantee. I will include a couple seeds.
