This is Hair Extension with feathers. Check last picture, take a closer look at weaved part and you should see what you missed. It was and still is popular and not only among young girls. Though old and ugly women usually dislike this kind.
Searching "Hair extension with feather" on e-bay brings 1,015 items.

I am 65 yrs. old and I still wear them. If I don't have all kinds to pick one for the way I feel that day, I don't feel right without one and don't want to be seen in public or by anybody. I have worn these since I was a teenager and I am so happy they are back in style! Keep'em comin'!!!!! :) :) :)

I should have the similar items with read feathers and a few with violet feathers. I can check. Maybe that will much your hear better. Please, let me know if you want me to list those.

Yes I agree. Good idea! I would like to see the violet and the red or whatever you have, I love bright colors. I was making a lot of mine until arthritis got my hands and fingers so bad that I can only make one once in a while when they are not flaring up. Which is not very often. But I keep trying anyway!
