Is there any point which you would consider sending it for free? Like after 1500 or 2000? Either way it's totally fine with me, I was just curious!! I LOVE this auction!!

Unfortunately, current funds are pathetically too low for me to say yes. :( Things should get better in the future though, so I will consider that for future auctions. Thanks for the suggestion!

if you paid 100 for your starter kit you got 400 dollars worth in product. if you bought the mirrors, then i could understand. i look forward to you listing them but every consultant knows that they are basically free in the starter kit. try consigning them, you make money that way and a consultant gets them cheaper. i bought a couple at a consignment shop:)

The mirrors aren't basically free when every Mary Kay consultant pays $100 for the starter kit, huh? :) I'll see what I do with them. They're still pretty handy right now. :)

If the winner (hopefully me) doesn't mind sending the $11 dollars for a medium flat rate box (which I assume this would fit into) would you mind sending it via medium flat rate box?

Most definitely! I will ship it the least expensive way I can for the winner, and I will most certainly ship it however the winner would prefer. :) But if the bidding goes over 1,000 credits, I will only ask for $4 for shipping. :)

Not your fault about postage.. you should see if it fits in a flat rate envelope those mail for $4.75 no matter what the weight. I never leave my house to mail,.. I print the postage right at home and I have a scale to weight my items. So much easier.

I asked the woman at the post office about the flat-rate shipping, and she said the satin hands stuff was too big to fit into any of the smaller packages; the only thing they fit into would have cost me more to ship. Bad luck. :(
That is such a good idea! I wish I had all the supplies for that. Hmmm, that is something I'll need to look into. Thanks!

Thanks so much for your feedback. Mary Kay does have it's set backs in terms of customer base. Ppl want there stuff now and they want to bother you when it's convenient for them. The girls are a lot of fun. Many would probably consider going out with you and having fun still as lasting friendships, i'm sure. It is a job where you have to breathe it almost 24/7 despite the fact that they say you don't... If you have any of your mirrors or brushes for the parties i would really like to have them. I will certainly pay the shipping price too. Let me know if you would like to send them my way. I have very little money and really can't buy these items right now. Thanks:)

Don't tell the post office it's liquid. Mary Kay isn't explosive - it doesn't matter if it's liquid. You can ship it without telling them. So the cost of shipping really should be lower. I ship Mary Kay all the time - it's no big deal. They changed their packaging a year ago. most mary kay product lasts up to three years, including satin hands. Anything with sun screen in it should have an expiration date. If I may, i would like to know why ya'll decided to not be a consultant anymore. I see that happening a lot and almost made the decision myself.

It might be less expensive to ship if I didn't tell them there were liquids, but I prefer to be honest.
I love Mary Kay, the products, the girls, and pretty much everything else about it, but I don't like how varying the hours are. I would set appointments, and they were constantly being changed or canceled. I would always be working and thinking about work; I would get phone calls from girls at all hours about Mary Kay, and it wasn't what I am really looking for in a long-term job. I want to have a set and reliable schedule. I want to go to work and then come home and not have to think about work. Mary Kay is marvelous and they really made me feel loved while I was a consultant, but I am simply looking for a different kind of job.
Thanks for your comments. :)

I expect it will be in the $8.50 range, maybe a little more. I asked the woman at the post office to give me the highest price shipping could be, so she put in a zip code along the east coast and that was $10. I'm sorry shipping is so dang high. :(

Do you know how old the moisturizers are? I have a few tubes of tinted moisturizer that went bad and doesn’t smooth on (It’s a couple years old because I bought it from a consultant at cost). I know the satin hand doesn’t go bad.

It's about a year old. I'm using moisturizer that is the same age and it is great. :)

I don't anticipate the shipping to cost more than $3 or $4 to the US. Once the auction is over I will be able to provide an exact number.

I went to the post office to get a close estimate of how much shipping would be, and because I'm sending liquids the shipping could be around $8 or $9. :S But if the bidding goes above 1,000 credits, I will only ask the winner to pay $4 instead of exact shipping. :)

Have you thought of calling a local consultant and selling it to her at the cost it was to you? I would buy product from another so that they wouldn't loose their money. Just a suggestion! that could help you get your money back. Also, is this the normal to dry or the oily to combination line of product? I would get it for myself if it's the oily to combination. As a consultant, i just couldn't ever resale something that didn't come direct from the company. But wouldn't mind using it myself. please let me know what kind it is and the shipping on it. thanks. (it looks normal/ dry due to the pink color plus, the packaging is almost a year and a half old - they updated their packaging a while back. is that just an old picture?)

The cleanser and moisturizer are normal to dry. I am an inactive consultant and haven't bought new inventory in awhile, so I didn't know the packaging design has changed. The products are still in great shape though! I have stocked up and am living off what I have right now, and I working on selling/auctioning off what I know I won't be able to use. I haven't contacted any consultants near me yet, but it's on my list of things to do. :) Thanks for your comments!
