Description: From Southeastern Europe. Grows 1 1/2'-2 1/2' tall x 1 1/2' wide. Foliage and stems are silver grey, and covered in fine hairs creating a velvety look. Leaves are about 5" long at the base getting smaller as they go up the stem. Looks wonderful in masses.
Ideal conditions: Full sun with well drained soil of any type. Regular water, but will take extreme drought.
Bloom: Flowers start mid summer and carry through till early fall if conditions are right. Keep cutting off seed pods to keep it going longer. Flowers are a fuschia pink to violet with a splash of white in the center. They are about 1" across. An extreme contrast with the grey leaves
