"And Then You Die" is about a photojournalist named Bess Grady who returns from assignments in Sarajevo and Somalia to an assignment in a small town in Mexico called Tenajo supposedly for a travel article. She doesn't really find anything scenic or travel-worthy there -- but that doesn't mean nothing happens. Actually, the entire population is murdered while she is there, so she is thrust into the middle of a terrorist event. She allows a man she cannot entirely trust to lead her to safety as she plans how to find her kidnapped sister and a lone survivor of the tragedy.
