Well I sure am glad you came by to have a look at it... I had the same issue till I got myself a magnifier I wear, it's like a headband, really lightweight & has a light & magnifies whatever you are working on, makes everything look so huge it is easy now for me to cross stitch, or thread a needle & it really helps me with my jewelry making at times... Only paid $14 for it too, not too shabby... :-)

It is real pretty, I have 4 cross stitches I am doing right now, I go back n forth between the different ones I do, to give myself a change of pace... TeeHee

I think you are going to be my new best friend, all you have to do is private message me where I can find this gem if a magnifier. Sounds like just what I need. I love jewelry making and am limited to the beads I work with. Don't get me wrong, I love euro, pandora ,etc. but there is a whole word of beads to love out there .

Well, I don't have the best vision anymore either unfortunately, so I can definitely relate, but I wear a magnifier when I cross stitch, it makes the area I am working on look HUGE... Giggle

Well... I thank you for your lovely comment though... I did similar myself, I used to cross stitch with my mother as a kid/teen... then when she passed on I just didn't pick it up for many years again, because it was something very special we did with each other, then one year a dear friend bought me a few kits for my birthday along with floss, needles & hoops etc. cause I had mentioned I used to make them, & she had seen them in my house... It took me a little while to get back to my former level but I am glad I picked it back up, I feel like my mom is watching me as I cross stitch now... <3
