Description

The listing, 100x25mm Coco-Peat Disk has ended.

Welcome! This auction is for a 100g, 100x25mm coco-peat disk. This product is still in its plastic wrapping. This is perfect for mixing with topsoil for starting your seedlings, or as an addition to potting soil when planting indoors. Just soak your coconut-based peat disk in water, mix, and plant normally.

**MY AUCTION RULES**

Don't bother bidding if you are not verified.

All Listia rules apply.

I don't hide comments if they are rude, trollish, or otherwise ridiculous, so think twice before posting something stupid.

I don't smoke, but I have pets. They don't smoke, either.

No, I don't do buyer's remorse. No, I will not lower the days. No, I will not change/add/remove the GIN. This isn't “Let's Make A Deal”. The terms of my auction are simple and non-negotiable.

Thanks for visiting, and best of luck!

Thanks a million! People either love the rules, or think I'm a total jerk. :D The smoking pet rule made ME laugh out loud when I wrote it, and everyone seems to love it too.

Yes. Two quarts of this will be ample for a garden-worth of seeds, believe me you. I also mixed this into my topsoil, because I'm from Long Island, where the soil is either sandy or clay. Worked like a charm.

Is this for 100 disks ? does each one expand to about the size of a shot glass or small bathroom dixie cup ?
May 11th, 2014 at 7:37:48 PM PDT by
Original
Nope. The disk (singular) is 100x25, meaning 100mm round by 25mm thick. As for how much this disk makes, it will expand to roughly 2 quarts.

do you put the seeds in this or water put in pot this is my first year gardening the last one graduates monday and then leaves so decided to do this

What you do is add water to this disk to expand it. Then you use the expanded peat to either put the seeds in directly, or you mix the peat in with potting soil or topsoil. I recommend mixing this compound in with potting soil. Good luck!
