It may be a wire cutter, it's hard to tell with these pics. Can you get a few more pics of the 'head' of the tool, like different angles & ect.. Thank You...

Can you just tell it what that writing is on the head? They're not ordinary wire cutters, that's for sure. I'm thinking it's some kind of specialty tool. If I could make out the name and number on it, I could track it down.

I'll give a little bit for it, without even knowing what it is, but for the big points, we need to know more.

Is that all you can find on it? No maker's name? Found lots with that, but none of it had anything to do with that kind of tool.

it looks a lot like the cutters we used to use when I was a kid I think they are meant to cut very heavy gauged stuff like barbed wire and fencing strands, that is what they look like to me

Whatever tool this is, it's not listed in their current catalog. I emailed the company, I'll let you know if and when I find anything out for sure. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of wire cutter, bender, or crimper.

Well this is 2850, rather than 2854, but it is being called a:
Shear-Nose Wire Cutter, & it sure does look like it to me.
It is made by that company for sure, what do ya'll think?

You're welcome, but I thanked my wife for US,lol.
my wife found it, She's great at finding stuff online that most ppl can't,
even after 10 yrs being together I haven't caught on to her technique,
even though she's tried to show me.

I've been telling her for yrs she should open her own website called 'if u can't find it I will" lol

This is Dan's wife... YES, I make jewelry, wire wrap type, & that is what first intrigued me when I seen this item on my hubby's watched items... These can definitely be used to cut copper wire for jewelry, I am glad I could help on the searching for info as well, so everyone watching these will know more about it.
Sincerely ~Angel~
