Do you think these would be too big for someone that wears a 7 1/2?

wowzy, that 's hard to say exactly. So what I did was measure the length of the sole from the end of the heel to the other end at the toes and it measured nine and seven eighths inches long .I also measured the height of the heel at the end side and it was two and one quarter inches tall to the top of the sole. Thanks for your interest and I hope this helps answer your question ( :

Fanned and watching. Really like the bind-rune in your profile pic. :-)

Thanks mamaravyn, F'd back. Interestingly,I was not familiar with the term 'bind-rune' I learned today that this symbol was also a popular symbol of the Germanic people, also around the same time period that Norsemen referred to it as a valknut By the way, I enjoyed your measuring device in your crocheted rune bag auction, Nice 'touch'.

I stand corrected... It is a valknut. Sometimes, If I stare at the computer too long, it all starts looking the same... :-)
And I figured measuring hands was good enough for horses, why not everything else? lol

Hold your horses mamaravyn. You were right. Seems it originated with Norse Paganism, who referred to it in a different word at that time. It is also called The knot of the slain or Hrungairs heart and was very popular with Germanic neopagans in reference to their symbol of faith It's true symbolism can only be guessed at by the experts. Keep up the creative handy work!
