I think it's supposed to look like snake skin maybe? I'm not sure but it's still really pretty! There are pockets on the inside and also one on each end. Great for stuffing your phone into but still easily accessible. There is a buckle that folds over the top and snaps shut so nobody can just reach in and take something.
