This Stuff is Free Too:
Description

The listing, Desktop Hard Drive. 120 GB-7200 RPM. Free Ship! has ended.

Up for auction is a Seagate Barracuda ST3120022A 120 GB 3.5" 7200 RPM IDE Hard drive. This is used but working. I just pulled this from my running Compaq PC that I'm parting it out. The only reason for parting it out is that the CPU is outdated and I'm building a new one with newer components so I won't need this. Will come freshly wiped and formatted in NTFS sile system. Although working now I am listing AS-IS for my protection. Please bid accordingly. Please no rude/snide comments. Just a fair warning...Any rude/snide comments WILL get you blocked.

I'm not putting a GIN on this and don't plan to. Nor will I lower the days so DON'T ask. Sorry but I wan't to just let this one ride so if you want it you'll have to bid for it.

I ship USPS and usually same day if possible depending on business days and holidays that the mail runs. I also ship U.S only. Normal rules apply and you WILL need a Listia verified address for me to ship to. PLEASE have your address entered into Listia before trying to win. If you don't it just makes it take longer to get to you! It only takes a minute to get it done so don't be lazy and go do it! Lol. You must also click "Have it shipped" after the auction ends to send the address. Check my feedback and you'll see I ship out fast and try to please my winners. Per Listia Rules if I don't receive a response that it is done in 7 days then your credits are forfeited and I will re-list it for someone else to win. Sorry for any inconvenience but it's the rules..

All of my auctions that are listed as free shipping will include a tracking number (unless I notify the winner otherwise) for both party's protection. I will send it to the winner as soon as I receive it if applicable.

Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer them as soon as I see them to the best of my knowledge. Thanks for looking and happy bidding!

FYI...If anyone is wondering about the white places where the serial numbers are blanked out it is where I have altered the photo in paint to conceal the numbers for security purposes. I feel it safer to do that so that someone can't try to claim anything or try to register it for themselves, etc. There are numbers there on the actual item and they are legit. Just trying to protect myself and anyone who wins. You have to try to be safe these days.

They probably can't but you never know what these stupid people out there might try to do to claim something even as low valued as this. If I didn't cover them then their would be another stupid comment from some one about showing serial numbers on the auctions. Just covering my bases.

I am not all that "computer literate" could you tell me if I need to look at anything on my current desktop setup to ensure it will be compatible?

As far as I know it should work in anything that has an IDE connection and cable available and an available 4 pin Molex plug for the power. I'm sure if it needs any sort of drivers it will pull them from an operating system (Windows, etc.) install disc or would be obtainable online. You wouldn't be able to use it if your system has all Sata connections but usually they all have all the connections, Sata, IDE and Molex. You can Google these terms to find photos of them to see what they look like so you can identify them. Hope that helps. GL.

Nice auction. To bthomas: You need to make sure your computer is IDE and not SATA compatible also.
