The listing, 8x10 Custom Pencil Portrait Commission has ended.

Above are some examples of my artwork. Usually I charge a specific price to anyone who wants me to draw a portrait of themselves or a loved one. However, this one time, I wanted to see how something like this would do in an auction on Listia.
I'm new to the site, but have listed and "sold" a few items so far. It's been such fun and the people are so nice that I wanted to offer something unique and special.
I do have some terms to follow so PLEASE read them before bidding!!

Just disregard the prices and read the steps. Remember this auction is for an 8x10 portrait ONLY.
Shipping is a flat rate of $5.00. I use Priority mail service, which includes a tracking number. If you would like to add additional insurance let me know in an email if you win.
I prefer PayPal.

I've noticed that more bids come towards the end anyway. You'd have to wait for one to finish before you post another auction for the same thing, multiples violates the listia rules.
I hate saying it, but free shipping would also get you more bids. I've noticed stuff that costs for shipping doesn't go as well.

you're right. I didn't think that was possible. All my other listings are free shipping because I ship parcel post and it's not expensive, but with this one its more important that I can track it so I need to charge shipping. I can lower the shipping however. Thanks for the advice!

I am also a portrait illustrator. Your work is characterful, soft and lifelike. Unusual to be able to do that from photographs. ;)

wow! i LOVE your artwork. They're so colorful and rich. They kind of have a vintage quality about them and i absolutely love that. I greatly admire art that I know I can't personally do like abstract. I'm rubbish at it lol. Fantastic work really!
I charge so little because I guess I'm still kinda new to the idea of it. Honestly, I had about 4 different prices before I settled on those lol. Once I get more established I want to raise my prices. It's so hard to put a price on something like that you know?
