Hi Vicky, this watch was my mothers, who if still alive would be 73, its been around awhile, I do not think they had knock offs back then, however I am no jeweler, it looks like the real thing, also turn dial knob tip is blue, thanks for asking
are you going to put a battery in it? it's beautiful and for a long time i stopped bidding on watches because when i got them i always had to put one in and i got frustrated but this one is really pretty and i want to bid but want one with a battery
I had no knowledge of cartier watches, Vicky asked a question and I researched it and saw $6300 price, no way my mother had a watch worth that then I found out about the replica and that happens to be worth good money!
I'm so impressed that you researched the watch. Honest sellers are rare, and you did the right thing!! For this, I salute you! Will definitely bid in your items!
well thank you Vicky, at any given time, I have 30 ads going on craiglist in 2 different cities.. I have to be honest, people know where I live! lol and I like money, but I like people more
Miss Gene, I feel you have come upon the answer, a battery is $3-4 at most stores, they install them for free, and the post office gets mad if you mail a ticking package. Batteries are hazardous materials, must be declared when shipping, and the extra cost paid. Should not be shipped hooked up inside an item, as they can explode, leak from altitude sickness, and barff inside the item. I hope the old battery was taken out a long time ago, and the insides are not damaged.
