Up for auction is this captivating silver ring size 5, stamped 925. The oval cut garnet is stunning. Two rows of superb round cut amethysts, peridots, morganite and pink topaz surround the main stone. Lovely filigree adorns the sides of the band. Garnet is the birthstone of January, amethyst is that of February, peridot is that of August, Morgantie is that of October and topaz is that of November.

These stones are laboratory created, but their properties, chemical, optical and physical, are identical to that of naturally occurring stones. Man made gems are much hardier than their naturally occurring cousins, not so subject to temperature change, drying out, cracking or grazing.
