The listing, Sweet!! Genuine Diamond Solitaire Necklace on 18" 14k White Gold chain. (15 detailed photos) has ended.

Here is a small, real diamond pendant, with a very fine slinky box chain. For size, see the photos. The diamond is about the same size as the c-clasp on the chain. Chain feels really smooth and strong. Diamond is very sparkly, but has many itty bitty inclusions in it which you can only see if you're myopic (which I am) up real close,or use a loop. Chain is stamped 14k F (not 14KF) on the clasp - don't know if they mean the same but the chain seems to be solid gold because it would be difficult to plate/fill a chain as fine as this one and still maintain the finess and silkiness this one has. The end loops are soldered on to the chain. But since I cannot be absolutely certain that the chain is solid gold, I can not guarantee that. I know for certain that the diamond is real, I know a cubic from a diamond, unless the diamond if flawless and this one is not flawless. The diamond pendant setting has VDC etched on the back (in the photo only the VD can be seen as the C is around the "bend". I've taken a lot of photos trying to capture the beauty of this necklace and none of them really do because of all the reflections from the diamond and the chain, but I've done my best. well i know when it says 14k f it stands for filled it doesnt always say gf that stands for gold filled you can look it up but it is still nice anyways but i still cant figure out what the vdc stands for ive never heard of those marks are!

I did some research prior to listing this item, because the 14K and the F are separtated in the stamp, not together. I found that the F can indicate a jewelers mark. When together it means gold filled. I've looked at this chain magnified and held it and I've handled a lot of jewelery, and I'd be surprised if it isn't pure gold. During my research, I could find no information on the VDC on the back of the pendant loop. I initially thought it might be something to do with the diamond quality, but I came up with nothing. It is etched rather than stamped.

Sorry, I don't. I would say it's on the lower end quality though because as I mentioned it does have teensy carbon flecks in it. I didn't purchase this first hand and it came with no paperwork. The size of the diamond can be compared to the spring clasp on the necklace. It a standard clasp, if that helps at all.
