The listing, Jeep Knife has ended.
Almost new jeep knife. The only damage done is on the pommel, as you can see in the picture. The blade dosn't have any dents in it. It has only been used a couple of times. Shipping depends on where you live, if you tell me your zip code i will calculate how much shipping will be. Bid high, and happy bidding. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
It is not an "Iraq style" bayonet as you said. I assume you are going by the design of the blade thinking it's an AK bayonet which it is not. In fact it's not any kind of bayonet. The hole in the blade is a design in many survival knives and on the US M9 bayonet. The saw design in the back of the blade is common with AK bayonets but its in no way just on them. The blade and handle does not have the right set up to attach to a riffle. Now again with the hole in the balde. With the right sheath it connects through to use as a wire cutter. As the US issue M9 has and even my favorite, the Spanish Army issue Survival knife. You can also nail through the hole to attach to wood to use the knife as a sheer in a pivot motion. In this case the bayonet mount hole on the handle is more decorative, but many survival knives have these not to mount to a weapon but to a stick to use as a spear.
The hole also reduces weight from the blade. This is not a full tang blade which is the fall back of the survival kit in the handle but on the plus side there is a survival kit in the handle. I have head one of these Jeep knives and it has a good weight to it. Wouldn't use it as my only knife in a survival situation but It would be a great hunting knife. It's well made.
If i don't win it, who ever does is getting a good knife. It looks to be in great shape. I've been going knife happy here in Listia. Great auction. W&F
